I was inspired to give back in a big way over the holidays by my son Andy's major medical trauma and two surgeries over the holidays last year. Those 6 weeks hospitalized over the holidays were traumatic for our entire family, especially with Andy's little brothers and Daddy being so far away. Andy and I made the most of our time at the hospital as we made many new friends and Andy continued to demonstrate his amazing "joy through adversity".
